Support Us

There are many ways to support us - through prayer, finance, introducing us to new schools or churches who may be interested. You can find out more about other ways to support us in the "Churches" tab, this section focuses on financial support.

Christian Education Project are delighted to offer all of our services to schools free of charge. In a time of increased financial pressure on schools, to be able to book such high quality services - including resources where necessary - without having to worry about putting extra strain on the budget is a breath of fresh air. CEP is only able to continue to provide this service through the generosity of local churches and individuals.

Like most small charities, we have been hit hard by covid and are currently running at a deficit that is unsustainable past the short term future. In 2021 we celebrated CEP's 30-year anniversary of service to Redbridge schools. If you share our vision, why not commit to supporting the project financially so that this incredible work can continue in the years to come.

There are many ways to give, we have set out a number of ways here - if you require any further information or help please email us on office@christianeducationproject.org.uk

Giving by bank transfer

To make a one-off gift to Christian Education Project, money can be paid directly to our bank account:

Christian Education Project

A/C : 70762717

Sort 20-67-83

If your gift is for a specific purpose, please include this as a reference.

It is important to us that we acknowledge and thank people for their generous gifts - however with bank transfers this is not always straightforward as we may not have your contact details or we may have more than one donor with the same surname. If you give via bank transfer, please do drop us an email to let us know so that we can thank you properly.

Text Giving

Text Giving is a convenient way of supporting us from the comfort of your phone.

Simply write a text message that says CEP and send it to 70085. Your phone bill will be charged £3 and we will receive a donation.

Planned Giving

Whilst all giving is greatly appreciated and helps us to keep the project going, receiving regular gifts however large or small really helps us as we can more effectively plan our budget.

There are three ways to participate in Planned Giving:

· Standing order with your bank by joining “Friends of CEP”

· Through your employer’s payroll giving scheme (this only applies if your employer runs such a scheme – your Human Resources department can provide details on this)

· Direct payment via internet banking

Giving by cheque

If you would like to make donation by cheque – make it payable to Christian Education Project, mark the reverse with a reference to any intended purpose and post to the office.

Each year we celebrate Schoolswork Sunday, a chance to highlight the work of The Christian Education Project within Redbridge Churches and encourage their congregations to give financially.

The video to support Schoolwork Sunday 2022 is here - it could be used in Churches any time if you are inviting your congregation to give.

Gift Aid

If you pay UK tax (Income or Capital Gains Tax) and would like us to be able to claim back the basic rate tax, you will need to fill in, sign and return to us an ongoing Gift Aid Declaration if you have not done so already. The benefit to the Project is that it can recover the basic rate of income tax, currently 25p for each pound given. (If you pay higher rate tax, you may recover this through your own tax return.)
